My recent stay at Ljoshaugen Camping in Dombås was a mix of highs and lows. The bungalow we stayed in was cozy and quaint, with a lovely Norwegian style that added a touch of local charm to our accommodation. The private entrance provided a sense of exclusivity, and the parquet floors added a rustic feel that we truly enjoyed.Being just a short drive away from central Dombås was incredibly convenient, allowing us easy access to essentials like groceries and restaurants. The proximity to Otta and Lom also made exploring the surrounding areas a breeze, giving us a glimpse into the stunning natural beauty of the Oppland region.However, there were some drawbacks to our experience. The cabin had a musty odor and was slightly slanted, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. The muddy surroundings didn't help either, creating a less than ideal environment for relaxation. The bathroom raised health concerns with its moisture in the walls and ceiling, harboring black fungus that was quite alarming. It's a quaint spot for those seeking a taste of authentic Norwegian accommodation, but improvements in maintenance are necessary for a truly enjoyable stay.
